Terms of service (advertising)

1. What you buy. A sponsor slot on this website (for example the Spotlight card, "Countdown by …", "Dhak presented by …", "Pandal map partner" or "Eat nearby" on pandal cards) from your chosen start date until Bijoya Dashami, 21 October 2026. Every ad is clearly labelled "Sponsored / স্পনসর".
2. Your content. You confirm you own or may use the business name, logo, text and links you submit, and that they are lawful, accurate and not misleading. No ads for alcohol, tobacco, gambling, weapons, adult content, political campaigns, medical claims or anything illegal.
3. Review. Every booking is reviewed before it goes live. We may decline any ad for any reason; declined bookings are refunded in full.
4. Placement. We never place ads on or next to the Akashvani / Prasar Bharati radio broadcast. Exact design, size and position may change to fit the site, but your slot stays in the area described.
5. No guarantees. Visitor numbers shown on the site are approximate. We do not guarantee any number of views, clicks or sales.
6. Removal. We may remove an ad that breaks these terms; in that case no refund is due. If we remove an ad for any other reason, we refund the unused days pro rata.
7. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction.

Refund & cancellation policy

• Not approved: 100% refund.
• You cancel before the ad goes live: 100% refund — message us on WhatsApp or email with your booking reference.
• After the ad is live: no refund for cancellation by the advertiser, because the slot cannot be resold for the rest of the season.
• Double payment or a payment error: the extra amount is refunded in full.
• Refunds are made to the original payment method through Razorpay or Dodo Payments (whichever you paid with) and usually arrive in 5–7 working days.

Delivery policy

This is a digital advertising service; nothing is shipped. After payment your ad is reviewed and, if approved, goes live on the website within 24 hours (or on your chosen start date if later), and runs until 21 October 2026. We confirm on WhatsApp or email when it is live.

Privacy policy

Visitors

• No login and no advertising cookies. To count visitors, your browser keeps a random ID in local storage; we store only that ID and a count — no name, IP address or location.
• "Near me" on the pandal map uses your location only inside your browser to sort the list; it is never sent to us.
• If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-free) measures page views in aggregate.
• Embedded YouTube / Spotify players and Google Maps links are run by those companies under their own privacy policies; they load only when you tap them.

Advertisers

• When you book a slot we collect: business name, tagline, description, logo, website, shop address and map link (these are shown publicly in your ad), plus your name, mobile number, WhatsApp number and email (used only to contact you about the booking; never shown on the site).
• Payments are processed by Razorpay or Dodo Payments, whichever you choose. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details; we receive only the payment reference and status.
• We do not sell or share your data, except with Razorpay or Dodo Payments (to take payment) and Cloudflare (which hosts this site and its data).
• We keep booking records for as long as Indian tax and accounting rules require, and delete contact details we no longer need. To see, correct or delete your data, contact us using the details above.
